The week before Mother’s Day, a photographer friend of mine posted her one and only wish for Mother’s Day… to have one picture of her with her daughters. This may not seem like that difficult of a request to some, but for people who spend most of their time photographing others, we often find ourselves missing out on pictures with us actually in them! So, a few of us decided to meet up the Saturday before Mother’s Day and help grant this wish for each other… to have pictures made of US with OUR children. Imagine that!
I’ve already seen a couple of the images that these girls took of me with Luke and I cannot tell you how much it means to me to have them. He is growing up so quickly… I don’t know where the past 2 and a half years have gone… and as I look back through all of the many (MANY) images taken of my little boy, it sometimes make me sad that there are so few of just the 2 of us.
