family

I have known this family for a number of years so when they asked me to take some special pictures for them, I was especially excited & honored!  I met up with some of the women of the family the Saturday before Easter to capture these.  It turned out to be a beautiful weekend overall, but Saturday morning was definitely on the chilly side.  They were all troopers, though, and I think we were able to capture some special ones!

I have to admit I was also excited to see Baby Logan again… I hadn’t seen him since his newborn session in December and he had grown and changed so much!  He is still just as sweet as can be and I love the shots where all the women are doting over him… he has them wrapped around his little finger already!

I think I’ve said this before after another similar session, but going through these makes me want to have the same sort of pictures done of the women in my family.  It’s an incredible blessing to have such special women in our lives as our grandmothers, mothers, sisters, aunts and cousins… I’d love to have pictures like these framed around my home to remind me everyday of those blessings!

Thank you so much, Tatum, Warlick, Garner & Shaw families, for giving me the opportunity to capture these special moments!  It was so wonderful to see you all again… hope you’ll enjoy some of my favorites so far!

I had to take a few of Jennifer holding sweet Logan… I love how he started looking toward the camera as I was taking these.  I think he just missed me and the sound of my shutter click!  :)
