I have been looking forward to working on these pictures since our session almost 2 weeks ago. Not only do I love working with this family, but we had a great spot to use for our session. My client’s recently lost a large tree in their backyard which forced us to go elsewhere… and we couldn’t have had a better spot, which just happened to be right next door. Their wonderful neighbors were so incredibly generous to allow us to use their beautiful backyard. It was such a neat area… I had the greatest time exploring all of the different spots from bridges, to stone walls, to large flower beds… what a great time for a photographer! We even managed to make it work despite our session falling on the first day after several days of rain. It was a little soggy at times, but with a little one this adorable and a session location this beautiful… it turned out wonderfully!
What’s even better? I had the opportunity to photograph Julia’s cousin Audrey after this session… so I got to spend even longer exploring the ins and outs of this spot!
My first session with Julia was several months ago, when she was 8 months old. This was her very special 1 year session. I was so excited to work with her again & see how much she’d grown and changed!
David & Rebecca, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your family. It was great to see and work with all 3 of you again… hope you’ll enjoy some sneak peeks for now!
