Oh how I love photographing this sweet little one! I must admit that I’m slightly melancholy as I edit this session for Mackenzie… knowing that as she’s passing the big one year mark, I won’t be seeing her quite as often. As I started working on these images today, I had to go back and look at our previous sessions together over the past year. It’s always amazing to look back and see how much they grow and change in one short year!
Mackenzie’s timing couldn’t have been more perfect as she started walking prior to this session. Although it can sometimes be hard to predict and schedule months in advance, I love when we can document more of the big milestones vs. actual ages for each session during the first year… and pictures of a new walker couldn’t be more ideal for a one year old!
This session rounded out a wonderful year of working with Mackenzie and her parents, who have truly become some of my most special clients. I am so thankful that they chose me to document this past year for their family. I’ve enjoyed every one of our sessions and love being able to capture special moments like these. Jon & Kim, thank you so much for – as always – a wonderful session. It is truly a pleasure working with your family… I hope you’ll enjoy some of my favorites so far from Mackenzie’s 1 year session!
