I was incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to the beautiful state of Montana at the end of last month. I had the opportunity to see parts of the country I’d never seen, visit with dear friends and meet new ones… all while “working” to photograph several sweet families (although I would hardly call it “work”).
I instantly fell in love with Montana, even as soon as we drove away from the airport in Billings. We just don’t see such gorgeous wide open spaces in our neck of the woods. A simple drive from one town to the next was awe-inspiring… witnessing in person these beautiful landscapes that God created for us.
During my trip, I had the chance to do a couple of mini sessions, and had such a blast being able to work and photograph in new spots.
My first night we wound up meeting with Quinn and his parents at the Moss Mansion in Billings. We had beautiful late afternoon light, the grounds were gorgeous, and Quinn was so much fun to work with… I couldn’t have asked for more to kick start my trip!
Tony and Kaycee, it was wonderful meeting and working with all 3 of you. Thanks for such a great session… more to come soon!
